The success of any training program is measured by how well those participating apply what they have learned. The following steps are designed to help you as an individual and as a team member implement this training on your campus. 1. Polish your lecture. Utilizing your training experience, recheck introduction, content, closing, gospel presentation and comment cards to make sure you have done the best job possible. Date to be completed ___________________________________ 2. Meet with team. Collect speeches (both classroom and other) from all team members and begin a catalog of lectures and speeches to be used on your campus. Date to be completed _____________________________________ 3. Decide with other team members what other lectures or talks should be prepared to meet classroom and campus objectives. Assign lectures and talks. Date to be completed _______________________________________ 4. Set specific objectives of when and where talks and lectures will be given. Brainstorm to determine as many avenues of Christian communication as you can find on your campus. Work on evangelistic talks, team meetings, LTC, etc., using your basic lecture as a springboard. Date to be completed ________________________________________ 5. Prepare a topic list of lectures to present to professors, campus clubs, student body groups, etc. Be sure that titles and descriptions arouse curiosity as well as demonstrate relevance to your audience. Date to be completed ________________________________________ 6. Schedule time when an individual or a team can set up classes and other speaking engagements. Date to be completed ________________________________________ 7. From time to time reevaluate, individually and as a group, speaking opportunities, speaking resources and action steps. 8. Pray. Your job is to plan and prepare well. God's job is to open doors and bless His message.
